Hello! My name is Steve, known online as Ben Fate. I was born and raised in Canada and launched Comedy Portuguese over 10 years ago, inspired by talented Portuguese entertainers such as The Portuguese Kids, Mike Rita, and Must B Portuguese, among others.

With over 25 years of experience as a Graphic Designer, I also have a strong background in Music Production and Video Editing. Comedy Portuguese originally began as Portuguese Comedy on Instagram, created simply for fun. However, after realizing that The Portuguese Kids had already established a strong presence under a similar name, I decided to rebrand. Within just a few months, and thanks to the support of thousands of people sharing my content, Comedy Portuguese was officially born.

What started on Instagram soon expanded to Facebook, making it easier for fans to share videos and memes, and has since grown to include platforms such as YouTube and TikTok.

Bringing laughter to others has always been my passion. In a world filled with challenges, being able to make someone smile — especially when they are going through a difficult time — is what truly drives me.
